Are Advertising Men Satan in Disguise?

Hi,
How we love to see the comercial and adverts for "healthy" food, all the "Diet", "Low Calorie", "No or Low Fat", how simple they make our life........HA! If only that were true.

The advertising men are paid mega bucks to influence you to buy products, they are working for a client who wants to increase their sales and their part of the market.  A good advert can make millions overnight, and make a certain product a household name.  People in general believe what they are told, but the do not question subliminal messages, or people who are generally accepted as a "know it" person.  By that a celeb or a known sports person.

Celebs that endorse products increase their value and entice people to buy, if you see a slim celeb by a swimming pool eating a bowl of cereal, the underlaying message is; look at me I am slim...like you want to be and I am eating this product, then a beautiful figure dives gracefully into the pool.  The message you do not pick up is the exercise message after eating, as all cereal does is turn into sugar in your system.

We only see and hear the part of message that we want to, and that is also the main message that the ad man is sending you.  No Fat Yogurt, if it is made with skimmed milk there is not fat in there anyway! Fat free alcohol....there has NEVER been any fat in alcohol, but in both these products there are elevated amounts of sugar! Plus alcohol slows down your metabolic rate, so  you store fat quicker!!!

Anything with chemical sweetners are far worse for your body than any natural sweetners like honey and unrefined sugar.  Use a tin of coke to clean your car engine, toilet or jewelery and see what a great job it makes of it, then think what that is doing to your insides!  Carbonated soft drinks are nobody's friend!

Don't be swayed by a celeb saying this is good for you, or believing that you are going to drop a dress size overnight by taking any product, because it is not true.  Shop with your thinking head on and always after a meal, never food shop on an empty tummy or you will buy loads of rubbish.  It is also true if you buy it, it is because you intend to eat it!  So if you are putting 2 chocolate bars, or a packet of biscuits in your shopping trolley, it is because you have the intention of consuming them!

Don't let the ad man win, buy natural, buy healthy (unrefined or unprocessed) foods and when sales of the other products decline.....see what happends to the ads, as if by magic they disappear!

Have a happy, healthy shop!!!
